The Woman BossThe Woman BossThis initiative is a powerful endeavor to empower women to enter politics and leadership roles while simultaneously addressing the pervasive issues of Gender-Based Violence (GBV]. During a recent outreach in the Central River Region (CRR] and Upper River Region (URR], in collaboration with UNICEF, we engaged 104 women in politics and different leadership roles from diverse backgrounds, offering them leadership skills and mentorship.
By incorporating GB awareness into the program, it acknowledged the intersection of women’s rights and political leadership, contributing to a more inclusive and gender equal political landscape while fostering a safer environment for aspiring women leaders.
