The Woman BossThe Woman BossThis event aims to pay tribute to Pioneer Women hailing from various regions across The Gambia. In 2023, we honored 20 women from rural and urban areas, recognizing their significant contributions to the country’s development and showcasing their remarkable achievements. We
are currently in the process of writing a children’s and coffee table book about these women as well, which will be available to purchase at the 2024 Gala. Our hope is that every attendee leaves the Gala with an expanded view and newfound appreciation for what women have done and continue to do for our country.
The Woman Boss’ Gala is also an opportunity for us to fundraise for the organization, so we can continue to support women and girls through innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership across The Gambia. As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generous support of sponsors to enable us to continue creating impactful and meaningful events and programs for our diverse beneficiaries.
